The Rockettes are coming to St. Louis….

Who would not know the Radio City Christmas Spectacular show? This is one of the Christmas traditions which take place every year right in the heart of New York City. This musical show takes place at the Rockefeller Center in NYC.

It features all original and unique musical scores that audiences will surely love. The Rockettes, who are all-female performers, leads the performers in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. And because the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is marking its 80th anniversary, the production and organizers have decided to mount the musical in four other states.

One of the chosen venues is the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis, Missouri. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will have its first of several shows on November 8, 2012. The musical show will end on November 17, 2012. After that, the cast and crew of the musical show will fly off to Dallas, Texas to do a similar Christmas special there.

The Peabody Opera House of St. Louis got its name in July 2010. It’s former name was the Kiel Opera House. It took the City of St. Louis about $79 million and two years to complete the renovation of the Peabody Opera House. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will be one of the big events that it will host.
