Roger Waters was born in 1943 and he was an original member of the legendary band Pink Floyd. He played the bass and was a vocalist for this amazing band. In the beginning years of Pink Floyd, he was a co-lead vocalist and as the years went on his duties changed. After the departure of band member, Syd Barrett, Roger became the head songwriter and lyricist. He was also looked upon as being the person in charge of the band. Some of the most popular albums produced by Pink Floyd include: “Wish You Were Here,” “The Dark Side of the Moon,” and “The Wall.”
Waters performed The Wall live in Berlin in front of a crowd of 200,000 fans in 1990. Twenty years later in 2010, he began “The Wall Live” in which he performs the album in its entirety. In 2011 he was joined by two former band membres, Gilmour and Mason at the O2 arena in London to perform the song “Comfortably Numb.” Waters has walked down the aisle to get married 3 times and he has 3 children. One of his children is a fashion model.
