Sting, a much beloved soloist, will be celebrating his 25 years in the industry with an amazing new tour entitled the “Sting Back to Bass Tour.” This tour will begin on October 21st at the Wang Theatre in Boston and it will visit many large cities along the way. He will perform in many intimate theatres along with a 5 piece band he has assembled in honor of this occasion. His longtime guitarist Dominic Miller along with Peter Tickell on the fiddle, Jo Lawry with vocals, Vinnie Colaiuta at the drums and Rufus Miller playing the guitar will accompany Sting on his tour.
If you are a longtime Sting fan, you won’t want to miss this concert tour, since he is planning to perform many of his famous hits which he hasn’t done in years. Some of the tunes to look forward to are: “Englishman in New York,” “Brand New Day,” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You.”
Sting has also announced that he’ll be releasing a special boxed set in remembrance of his 25th Anniversary performing as a soloist. This set will be available on September 27th and he will also have a disc for sale on October 18th. The special boxed set will include lyrics, photos and writings by Sting.
